Many of us have a deep longing to just be. To have an effortless deep quiet connection with ourselves and others. We have a hunger for simplicity\, ease\, tranquility\, silence and space. Within the rhythm of stillness\, we encounter the emotions of peace and quietness\, which arise from a deep sense of acceptance and presence.​ \nPeace is the feeling of harmony and balance that emerges when we are in tune with ourselves and our surroundings\, free from inner conflict and turmoil. Quietness\, on the other hand\, is the serene state of mind that comes from letting go of mental chatter and embracing the silence within. \n​In this workshop we will use our practice of embodiment to calm our hearts\, quiet our minds and turn down the volume on our distractions. As we go on this journey we will discover our emotional states that keep us away from the state of tranquility and serenity. Resting in our inhale\, rising on our exhale. It takes courage to feel that our being is enough. Coming back home to our own physical bodies more and more\, we can start feeling more at home on this planet and extend loving attention and care from our own self love. \nRooted and centered we can soar\, we can switch from me to we\, from weight to weightless\, from effort to effortless. We rise from the ground up\, we dance from the feet up\, we support and lift each other up\, liberating our imagination\, celebrating  our maturity. \nThere will be a lot of dancing\, singing (Kirtan and Sacred Cacao ritual)\, some tree planting\, some creative expression and play. \n  \nSilvija & Thierry:  \nSilvija was first introduced to 5Rhyhtms through Gabrielle Roth’s book Maps to Ecstasy many years ago. This led Silvija to start dancing and organising  first workshops in 1998 with different 5R teachers in Croatia and Slovenia\, and later to finish her own Teacher Trainings with Gabrielle (Waves  and Heartbeat levels). She now teaches workshops and retreats internationally\, combining clarity\, imagination\, humour and wisdom and using a great variety of music. Her passion for being in the body prompts everyone to discover their personal dance and healing movement. \nThierry has been dancing from a very early age\, starting with ballet lessons as a kid\, and in later years pursuing theater career with further exploration of dance\, mime and clown work. He is also a certified and experienced Gestalt therapist. Decades ago\, he came across 5Rhythms and was able to finally integrate body work into his practice. A certified teacher in Waves level by Gabrielle Roth\, he is currently training for Heartbeat level with Jonathan Horan. He also works as a facilitator with men’s groups on ManKind Project. He brings his love of music as well as all different aspects of his career into his teachings\, with enthusiasm\, creativity and lots of humour. \n  \n  \nPrerequisites: minimum 15 Waves hours or 1 weekend workshop. This workshop counts towards future 5Rhythms® trainings as 2 days of Waves and 2 days of Heartbeat. \nPrices: Full price is 380 Euro. Early booking price before 7th of March is 340 Euro. Our ancestors danced until they disappeared in the dance\, until they felt the full force of spirit unleashing their souls. This was their religion\, and it was ecstatic and personal and tribal.” \nGABRIELLE ROTH \n  \nTribal dance is a gathering of dancers coming together from different places to reflect\, heal and let go with gratitude the year that has passed\, as well as welcome the new one with our intentions\, visions and inspirations. It is an opportunity to celebrate unity through our uniqueness. \nThis year’s Tribal Dance is inspired by the wisdom\, culture and art from Brazil.  \n  \nThis workshop will be a balanced combination of basic 5Rhythms® teachings\, 2 dancing ceremonies and some surprise additions to the program. \n5Rhythms®: Flowing\, Staccato\, Chaos\, Lyrical and Stillness – show us the way to be rooted\, centered\, powerful\, visionary and in Love. \nWe offer 2 dancing ceremonies\, Dance Pilgrimage and Tree Ceremony (supported with Sacred Cacao from Brazil)\, as powerful and efficient tools to state our intentions\, and keep the mind focused; they are the vessels holding space for us to enter timelessness and expand our consciousness. The need for ceremonies at certain times of our life and at certain times throughout the year\, like the time around the New Year\, is deeply rooted in our human DNA. \n  \nSilvija first started dancing and organising 5Rhythms workshops after reading Maps to Ecstasy\, Gabrielle Roth’s book many years ago. After finishing her own Teacher Trainings (Waves 2001 and Heartbeat levels 2010) she started teaching her own workshops and retreats internationally combining clarity\, imagination\, humour and wisdom with a great variety of music. Her own embodiment inspires participants to their own dance and healing movement.  \nThierry has been pursuing theater career with exploration of dance\, mime and clown work.
