We learned to suppress\, run away from\, or mask the parts we were shamed for. \nThe Wounded Healer invites us to make a different choice: From hiding to revealing. From ignoring to acknowledging. From pushing away to welcoming. To take these parts into a compassionate dance—meeting them\, recognizing them\, bringing them from the shadows into the light\, and finally offering them the love they never received. \nThis is how we heal. This is how we grow into mature adults who can live in peace with all parts of ourselves. \nWhat to Expect \nJoin us for a transformative conscious dance journey of self-discovery and healing in the weekend workshop: “Awakening the Wounded Healer – Dance Your Way to Healing and Empowerment.” \nGuided by the wisdom of the Wounded Healer archetype\, we’ll explore the emotional and mental landscapes shaped by our past wounds and childhood experiences. \nMeeting the Five Voices of the Inner Child\nThis weekend\, we will meet and dance with the five core voices of our inner child. Each of these voices holds a key to our healing\, and each session of the workshop will be devoted to one of them: \n\nThe Voice of the Story – This is the voice of the narrative\, the words we repeat to ourselves about life\, who we are\, and what we’ve experienced. Often unconscious\, this voice shapes our identity and outlook on the world.\nThe Voice of the Blocking Beliefs – These deep\, activating beliefs are planted in our early life. Often hidden\, they can decide on our behalf\, steering our lives from beneath the surface without our awareness.\nThe Voice of the Scream holds our suppressed frustration\, rage\, and emotional pain. It’s the voice that was never allowed to be heard. It becomes a powerful force for clarity\, vitality\, and healthy boundaries when expressed.\nThe Voice of Giving Up – This is where we lose faith in our right to live fully and give up on our dreams\, joy\, and wholeness. Meeting this voice with compassion can revive our hope and life force.\nThe Voice of the Source – This is who we were before we gave up. The voice of our true essence. It knows\, deep inside\, that we deserve the love we once sought from our caretakers. It is the voice of love\, tenderness\, compassion\, expansion\, and truth.\n\nWe will learn to recognize each voice and give it space to emerge and express itself fully. We will listen deeply to their wisdom through dance\, movement\, and presence.
