the Earth gyres
ceaselessly
its timeless spiralling
is calling us in
is calling us down
to the very core
of our turning being
where the Earth itself
pulses and breathes
opens and closes
rests and dances
inside our guts
these little bodies of ours
these small vorteces
of water and soil and spice
are finding ways
to grow the roots
amidst the noise of the world
and the world becomes
the Earth again
all our little gravities
are summoned together
turning and turning
breastfeeding us into
our own big selves
finally, we’re moving
with an endless,
boundless flow
