Instinct flows from our body—fast, raw, and before thought.With the 5Rhythms map, we will explore instincts through dance and movement, where creation begins. Let your movement arise from instinct, and blend with the intuition. Feel the body’s response to danger and attraction, sensing what words can’t. Step into the rhythm and discover the truth beneath the surface, surrender to the true body intelligence. “Instinct has drawn us back into the beat, back into the body to begin to sort out our confusion… Once your body surrenders to movement, your soul remembers its dance.”

5Rhythms Basics is an open space for people who want to discover the 5Rhythms for the first time or deepen their practice. Here you will learn the fundamentals of the map developed by Gabrielle Roth and receive guidance through clear instruction and simple exercises. At the same time, the afternoon offers experienced dancers the opportunity to return to the basics and explore their movement more consciously.
